Activism For Utahns With Disabilities
When budget cuts threaten the level of care for people with disabilities in Utah, it is up to us to step up and step in.
This legislative session in 2026 has proposed devastating budget cuts to Medicaid that will impact thousands of people with disabilities by removing their access to ABA therapy as well as DSPD services.
We ask that you take a few minutes to contact your Utah reps to tell them how reprehensible this action would be to the industry that takes care of our most vulnerable people.
What Can We Do?
To make it easy for you, click the link below to pull up a ready-to-send email to our Utah representatives - the members of the Social Services Appropriations Committee. There is an automatic message pre-written, but it’s most impactful if you add your own voice. Please include your own thoughts and language about why DSPD and ABA funding is a vital part of Medicaid funding for our community.
If the link above doesn’t work for you, you can copy and paste these emails into your message.
